Job Description: Web Developer is responsible for designing and developing web application on Windows platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and software functional specification
• Development and delivery of parts of software component(s) in projects based on the software design.
• Implement and document assigned part of component / work product based on project schedule in accordance to the customers’ quality requirements.
• Write code/ test code for part of software component/ work product. Unit test the implemented solutions.
• Investigate and fix software defects found by test / review team to ensure product quality.
• Ensure quality of the developed part of component(s) / work product(s) (conformance with development process) and its technical delivery.
• Submit the work products into the software configuration management.

Required Skills and Experience

• B.E. / B. Tech / M. Tech (Computer Science/ Information Technology) or MCA  or equivalent
• Worked in Six Sigma and/ or CMMi (at least level 3) process organization
• Good communication skills
• Must have minimum of 2+ years of experience
• Advanced Knowledge of: PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS,
• Experience in XML and XML schema
• At least 1 year of experience using a PHP framework such as Symfony, YII
• Sound Understanding of: OOPs, AJAX, MVC Design Pattern
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server 2008
• Deploying applications and projects on servers
• Ensuring full proof performance of the deliverables
• Participating in a team- oriented environment to develop complex web based applications

Desirable

• Experience in using version control systems such as SVN, ClearCase
• Knowledge of: HTML5, CSS3, JQuery
